It was Just A Dream- 2020

“Our little gardener fell asleep while working outside. His mind started to twist with different thoughts. What was real? What wasn’t? He’s still trying to answer that question today.”

In this short, Haille Dockery experiments with the objects she created for the garden in stop motion animation. Working with these materials was slightly difficult given how delicate they are. The sculpture above is an example of this. Covered in delicate dried plants, they tend to fall apart while filming. Still she enjoyed exploring her materials through a different medium, and hopes to do so again.
