About Me

Hello! My name is Haille Dockery, and I am a Mississauga-based multidisciplinary artist specializing in illustration, concept art, and contemporary work. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University.

My work explores the concept of “cuteness” by subverting traditional cute imagery to reveal deeper, often unsettling layers, challenging the perception that cute means trivial.

In my contemporary practice, I use the concept of the garden to explore relationships between natural and synthetic materials. By recontextualizing these materials within a personal space, I challenge our perceptions of them.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading and spending time with my pet turtle, Franklin.
